Mind-Body Awareness: An Introduction to Kundalini Yoga
We are honored to host our first ever LIVE MoveCamp experience with ordained spiritual healer and certified Kundalini yoga, Hatha yoga, and mindfulness teacher, Marni Suu Reynolds.
Marni will be guiding a LIVE 60 minute introduction to Kundalini yoga class on April 19th at 10:30am PT to help cultivate self-awareness through silencing your mind and unblocking the energy centers in your body.
What is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini yoga helps:
Build strength
Improve your mood
Enhance your memory and focus
Boost your metabolism
Lower blood pressure and heart rate
Similar to KINRGY, Kundalini uses movement and breathwork to help you release energy blockages in your body and reach your optimal flow state. Kundalini also involves sound, which is a central part of the signature KINRGY X method. When we release sound, we create vibration within our cells, which helps move stuck energy in the body and increase our vitality.
“The idea is that we all have energy gathered at the base of our spine and, through the practice of Kundalini, we bring that energy up our spine through the seven chakras, and out the crown of our head.”
Kundalini yoga, like KINRGY, focuses on mind-body-soul integration. While strengthening your body through a physical practice, you are simultaneously elevating your self-awareness and connecting to your true essence through breathwork and conscious intention.
“While anyone can practice Kundalini, this particular style of yoga is especially good for people who are looking for a spiritual practice as much as they’re looking for a physical workout.”
